Most building projects design the structure first and hand the landscape whatever is left: leftover budget, leftover square footage, leftover soil. This live recording of Land Language, the podcast hosted by Blueprint Earth founder Brit Sastrawidjaya and co-presented with the ASLA Oregon Climate and Biodiversity Action Committee, flips that order. Brit, a regenerative landscape designer, hosts a conversation with Kate Forester (Landscape Architect, ASLA Oregon CBAC) and Laura Squillace (Architect, Green Hammer). Together they trace where sustainability has been in their fields, what they're grappling with now, and how the disciplines work together from here.
